Paul Vogt is married to Helen and has 3 children. He works as a project manager for a large international printing company. Paul has attended the church for about 20 years, apart from a 3-year period when living in the USA. Paul is an elder and heads up our youth and children's ministry.
Rob Wilkinson serves as an elder, and is also responsible for music in the church. Married to Katie and with 2 children. Rob is a watchmaker by training, and currently works in the mobile phone industry.
Paul Thompson, came to Gunnersbury in 2008, with his Malaysian-Chinese wife Yuli, to be the church's Assistant Pastor. Paul left the role in 2013 while remaining one of our elders in order to pursue further study and is now researching for a PhD in the slavery ethics of the New Testament.
Bruce works in fund management in the City of London and is married to Lois, with two sons aged 11 and 8. In his spare time, he enjoys family cycle rides, doing ‘Parkruns’ and, in wet weather, building Air Fix models.
Paul grew up in South Africa, and has lived in the UK since 1998. He serves as a deacon and is married to Ashley, also a South African, whom he met in Spain. They have two young children. Paul and Ashley have their own property business. Interests include playing squash, chess and occasional golf.
James Davey works in corporate strategy within the Healthcare sector, and is an active rowing coach and is passionate about skiing. James joined the church 10 years ago shortly after moving to London.
Peter serves as Deacon and a member of the Finance Committee. He and his wife Rosemary have both been attending Gunnersbury since 2009 and they have three grown-up children. Peter works as an accountant in the City for a large US insurer. Away from work he tries to improve his guitar playing and were he to make it onto Mastermind his first round specialist subject would be the Beatles.
Daniel is married to Raffi, and they have 3 children. Daniel works as an architect. In his spare time he enjoys all types of art including design and making.
Barry McGovern joined the church 30 years ago, and is married to Janet, with 3 children. He is a deacon with responsibility for the church fabric. Barry teaches technology in a prep school, where he has led many teams to the finals of the 'eco-marathon' contest.
Jonathan serves as church secretary, and works as a mobile telecoms architect. He is married to Abigail and has three children. In his spare time, Jonathan enjoys playing the saxophone and keeping fit through long distance running.
Jean is our part-time administrator. Jean is officially retired from her work at WEC, a Christian missionary organisation, where she worked for over thirty years, serving in the Gambia and in WEC's UK office, in Gerard's Cross, Bucks. Jean enjoys walking, travelling and visiting interesting places, reading, crosswords and other puzzles.
Grete works part-time as an events co-ordinator for the church and part-time in the NHS. Grete is married to Brad and they have two children. In her spare time Grete loves socializing and taking on creative projects including: crafting, up-cycling furniture and photography.
Chris is our caretaker. He is married to Vivi and they have two daughters and one grandchild. Chris is retired from over 40 years working in the health service in electrical maintenance. In his spare time Chris enjoys music, reading, walking and old movies.
