MEN

Above all, we encourage all men to play their part in putting their gifts to use in the church, leading their families well, and in all things setting an example in “in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity” (1 Timothy 4.12)
Look out for the following events which run periodically:

TUESDAY

‘222’

Venue: Caffe Nero, W4 1PP
Time: 7.15-8.15am, every other Tuesday morning during term-times

At the moment we are focusing on understanding and interpreting the Bible, using material from ‘Grasping God’s Word: A Hands-On Approach to Reading, Interpreting, and Applying the Bible’: Scott Duvall and Daniel Hays.
There’s nothing more important than being equipped to apply God’s word to the many situations we find ourselves in: one-to-one advice, small group Bible study, personal devotions, our own understanding, etc. This is also a great way to be spending time in the Bible together and supporting each other in our lives.
Grab a coffee and join us in the basement of Caffe Nero, W4 1PP.
For more details speak to Tim Manson.

LONDON MEN’S CONVENTION

We have sometimes attended this in the past and always benefitted from it.
You can listen to the talks from the 2018 Convention on their website. Listen to John Piper’s talks on ‘Elijah on Mount Carmel’ and ‘Jesus in Gethsemane’ along with Rupert Standring’s talk on ‘The Life of John Bunyan’ considering what it means to be ‘Men who make a difference’.
