MORE...Michael took up the role of Assistant Pastor at Gunnersbury in August 2014, having just completed two years ministerial training at the Cornhill Course in London. Before that, Michael had spent several years training for ministry as a ministerial apprentice at Emmanuel Church
MORE...Paul Vogt is married to Helen and has 3 children. He works as a project manager for a large international printing company. Paul has attended the church for about 20 years, apart from a 3-year period when living in the USA. Paul is an elder and heads up our youth and children's ministry.
Rob Wilkinson serves as an elder, and is also responsible for music in the church. Married to Katie and with 2 children. Rob is a watchmaker by training, and currently works in the mobile phone industry.
Philip serves as Treasurer and Deacon. He and his wife Charlotte have both been attending GBC since 2015 and they have four boys. Philip worked in financial management for a large computer company for 42 years until the end of 2016 and now spends time as an actor and film/TV extra. From 1st July 2021, Philip is delighted to serve as Ministry Support (an administrative role) for 2 days a week.
Bruce serves as Church Secretary and Deacon. He works in fund management in the City of London and is married to Lois; they have two sons. In his spare time, he enjoys family cycle rides, doing ‘Parkruns’ and, in wet weather, building Air Fix models.
Barry serves as our Property Deacon. He joined the church 30 years ago, and is married to Janet, with 3 children. He is a deacon with responsibility for the church fabric. Barry is a retired technology teacher.
Jean is our part-time administrator. Jean is officially retired from her work at WEC, a Christian missionary organisation, where she worked for over thirty years, serving in the Gambia and in WEC's UK office, in Gerard's Cross, Bucks. Jean enjoys walking, travelling and visiting interesting places, reading, crosswords and other puzzles.
