Sam took up the role of Assistant Pastor at Gunnersbury in August 2025, after completing his Bachelors degree in Theology at Oak Hill College. Before that, Sam was the Student and Youth Worker at Emmanuel Church Canterbury, where he trained part-time at the Cornhill Training Course. Sam previously studied Biomedical Science at the University of Kent where he met Isabel, his wife. Sam and Isabel have since had a son called Jimmy. Alongside leading and teaching at Gunnersbury, Sam has responsibility for the Meeting Jesus Bible Study Group which is for those who are new to Christianity.
